Dr Solacymbal, also known as Praizcarrier, is an award winning song writer, recording artist, an international UK-based gospel artiste. Sola Cymbal, as the name depicts “a high instrument of praise“ has been called to declare the praises of God to the world through her inspirational songs.

Family/Early Life

She was born into the family of Late Reverend Gabriel Babatunde Oluwamusanmi and Mrs Christianah Oluwamusanmi on October 20th, in the early 80s. She hails from Ikere Ekiti in Ekiti State and attended St’ Thomas Primary School as a beginner and African Church Church Comprehensive High School for her secondary school education. She furthered her education by obtaining Bachelor of Arts (Ed.) in English Education from the University of Ilorin in 2005 and proceeded to her Master’s degree at the University of Lagos in 2008. Her quest to impact her generation pushed her to pursue her Ph.D. degree in English Language which she bagged in 2019 from the University of Lagos.

She is happily married to Opeyemi Igbayiloye, a legal practitioner and their union is blessed with lovely children. 

Sola Cymbal ‘s music life 

This gospel artiste has her own band, called “Sola Cymbal- Praizcarrier Crew”. The gospel sensation Sola Cymbal started singing from a young age, precisely age 8 when she led the children choir to present songs in gospel music competitions. She became a choir leader in her teenage years in God’s Vineyard International Church Felele, Ibadan where she developed her song-writing skills.  She was among the strong leaders of the Nigerian Christian Coppers Fellowship (NCCF) Choir in Kaduna State during her one-year National Youth Service. She later joined her guardian who is also a pillar in the music industry- Reverend Timi Osukoya-Telemi. There, she was groomed and prepared for the great assignment by building on her innate skill and learning stage performance. Even though Sola Cymbal has always been in love with music from childhood, at this place, she got a clearer vision of being an instrument of praise and the desire to fulfill her God’s given destiny by changing lives through music.

Sola Cymbal’s ministry is characterized by passionate worship, electrifying praise, and deep spiritual impact that transcends borders.

She began her musical journey with the release of her debut 8-track album “Destiny” in 2012, followed by her hit single “My Praise” in 2016. In 2017, she released the widely acclaimed album “Agbanilagbatan” (My Deliverer), which continues to bless lives globally.

Over the years, Sola Cymbal has written and composed numerous inspirational songs that have touched and transformed many souls, including singles such as “So Good,” “Atofarati,” Heal our Land, My Sufficiency, Taking over and many more. Her 2023 album, “Awesomeness,” launched in November 2023, took worship to another dimension with powerful tracks like “Titobi,” “Talitacumi,” “Cheer Up,” and “Addicted to Praise.”

In her continuous pursuit to declare the greatness of God, she released additional powerful songs, including “Shout of Praise Vol. 1,” “Erujeje,” Modomonira, and “Sacrifice of Praise,” each reflecting her deep devotion, vibrant sound, and unique anointing for praise and worship.

Sola Cymbal is also the convener of Shabach Encounter, a life-transforming worship gathering. The 2025 edition, held in March, was a phenomenal experience that hosted a large crowd of worshippers who witnessed undeniable impartation, healing, deliverance, and diverse signs and wonders — a true testament to the move of God through her ministry.

Beyond music, she is the visionary pioneer of The Goshen Experience, an online interactive program birthed during the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic. This initiative has since hosted numerous renowned speakers and vessels of God, impacting lives across nations.

Wherever Sola Cymbal ministers, her spirit-filled performance captivates audiences through her powerful voice, heart of worship, and prophetic sound. She has ministered both in the United Kingdom and abroad, performing and ministering at Christian conferences, social gatherings, and worship concerts, sharing the stage with several notable gospel personalities.
